Deer Park Public Library
Whether presented virtually or in-person, it is designed to encourage a love for books and language. It incorporates books, fingerplays and songs to promote interest in reading and lifelong learning. Caregivers are encouraged to watch with the children and encourage participation.

Deer Park Public Library's beginning Spanish class meets virtually on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. The class combines two ways of learning - practice conversation with other learners in a small group, and use of the Rosetta Stone program available on the library website. The Summer Reading Scholastic Book Fair is May 31 - June 4 during regular hours in the library's meeting room. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Deer Park Library. All proceeds provide incentive prizes for the summer reading program.
